Meeting in the context of the European project eyeG

Took place today, June 29th, another online meeting of the project eyeG: Green Sports Games.
It is a project with the involvement of several European partners (https://greensportsgamesproject.wordpress.com/partners/) that aims to promote non-formal education with special focus on skills development and, in particular, using sports activities as a method to change human behavior for a more critical environmental awareness.

In this meeting, after obtaining from EACEA the authorization to extend the project’s legibility period for another six months, the plan of the project’s activities that still need to be developed was presented

It was also agreed among the partners, the dates for the next transnational meetings planned to be held.

7th Transnational Meeting Via Zoom

Today, 6th of May, the seventh meeting was held via Zoom, with the partners of the Green Sports Games project.

At that meeting, the project’s activities that still need to be developed were discussed, as well as exposing alternative measures to minimize the impact of the pandemic on the project activities and results and, above all, specific to different partner countries, since some are still in a state of lockdown and others aren´t.

An amendment request to extend the life cycle of the project was made due to the strong restrictions that occurred on the project due to the pandemic that we are still facing. The activities inherent to activity nº 7 of the project, called P-DAYS, will continue to be published and can be seen in: https://greensportsgamesproject.wordpress.com/pilot-local-p-days-actions/

6th Transnational Meeting Via Zoom

Today, 30th of March, the sixth meeting was held via Zoom, with the various partners of the Green Sports Games project.

At this meeting, it was possible to discuss the project activities that still need to be developed and the materials to be produced, as well as explore measures to minimize the impact of the pandemic on the project.

The need to extend the life cycle of the project was also discussed due to the strong restrictions that occurred in the pandemic that we are still facing.

The activities inherent to activity nº 7 of the project, called P-DAYS, will be published shortly.

5th Transnational Meeting Via Zoom

Today, 15th of January, the fifth meeting was held via Zoom, with the various partners of the Green Sports Games project.

This meeting emerged as a mechanism to reduce the impact that the pandemic had in the normal course of this European project. Thus, through this meeting, it was possible to discuss the current status of the project, plan the following activities and explore measures to minimize the pandemic consequences for the next activity. The product of the activities carried out during the training days events was also explored, resulting in a Green Sports Games Action Plan, available in English in the project website as an Open Educational resource.

Transnational Meeting Via Zoom

A Zoom meeting was held on 5th of November, with the different partners of the Green Sports Games project.
This meeting emerged as a mechanism in order to reduce the impact that the pandemic had in the normal course of this European project, of which the União das Freguesias Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom and Jovim is the coordinating entity.
Thus, through this meeting, it was possible to explore and point out measures to minimize the consequences the Corona virus outbreak has on the partner countries of the project, in particular, on the mobilities planned for the transnational meetings and project activities.
